Our History
Jody Kerr founded Jody Kerr Estate Sale Services in 1992. She has been a member of International Society of Appraisers since 1998. Jody graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree from OU. Jody also had Jody Kerr Antiques in Oklahoma City. Jody Kerr specializes in Antiques, Art, Furniture and Oriental Rugs. Her exceptional and ethical reputation in the Estate Sale Service Business over the last 25 years continues through her hand-picked team of compassionate, ethical and professional staff.
Though Jody's original shop is closed, we now offer our services in the privacy of your own home, tailoring each sale to the individual and family involved.
Kathy Kempf joined Jody in the early 2000s bringing a new air of customer service and care - christening Kerr & Kempf Estate Sales in the years that followed. Kathy is a native of Oklahoma City. She has a bachelor in business from Oklahoma State University. She spent over 10 years in retail management and merchandising for Streets Department stores and 5 years as a buyer for Accessory Lady. Kathy and her husband Fred raised their three children in Oklahoma City. Before joining Jody Kerr Estate Sales, she was a residential appraiser in the Oklahoma City metropolitan areas. As Kathy’s knowledge, skills and expertise continued to grow, her role increased. When Jody made the decision to wind down her day-to-day involvement with the business she began, she turned the business over to Kathy. Kathy has led with the same passion, excitement and professional approach Jody instilled in her, and loves to serve those individuals in need of Estate Sales.

Martin Kempf officially joined the family business in 2015, learning firsthand from his mother, Kathy. Today, he carries forward her legacy alongside her while bringing fresh energy and perspective to the company. Together with our experienced team, Martin and Kathy continue to be dedicated to guiding families through life’s transitions — and to helping timeless pieces find new homes for years to come.
